Privacy Policy

This text is written in plain language rather than legalese, and applies through the beta. The short version: we only process the data the product needs to function, we don't store audio recordings permanently, and we don't sell your data to anyone.

What data do we process?

• Account information: your email address and a one-way hash of your password. We never store your password as plain text.
• Audio: for caption, filler and silence analysis, the audio exported from your sequence is sent to our server to be processed. Audio is used only for transcription and isn't stored permanently once processing is done.
• Usage counters: your remaining minutes and AI credit balance are kept on your account for billing and quota tracking.
• Usage analytics: which module you open/use and when (action type + module name, e.g. "captions" or "silence cut") is logged against your account. This log is for product improvement and support — it never includes transcripts, audio content, or project data.
• Device identifier: because the beta license is bound to a single device, on first login your computer's anonymous hardware identifier is linked to your account. Purpose limitation: this identifier is used only for license verification (device-lock) — never for profiling, advertising, or any other purpose. Retention: it stays linked to your account for as long as your account is active; if you change devices, support resets it on request (the old identifier is deleted and the new one is linked), and it is permanently removed when you request account deletion.

What don't we process?

• Your project files (.prproj) never leave your computer.
• Your video footage is never sent to a server; only the audio needed for analysis is sent.
• Beat analysis runs entirely inside the panel, fully local — your music file is never uploaded anywhere.

Third parties

We use enterprise AI service providers for transcription and image generation. Audio and requests are passed to these providers only to be processed; they're never used for advertising or profiling, and never sold.

Deleting your data

If you want your account and associated data deleted, just write to us through the beta contact channel and we'll delete it within a reasonable time. Since the captions and images you generate live in your own project, on your own disk, we never have access to them in the first place.
